Friday morning at about 7:25 a.m., I was chasing homework across my high school parking lot. I had dropped my coat, then picked it up, at the same time I dropped my folder. Then Mother Nature got involved, swept up all my PAPERS, and blew them across the whole parking lot. They even got in the baseball diamonds.
I got as many as I could, then went back inside. Then my mom called me and told me my papers were on the fence surrounding the diamond. So I had to run back out there and chase more papers! I had a whole stack and the wind tore them from my hands. I started screaming Spanish at the sky, no real reason other than to look crazy. I felt headlights on me, I turned around, a teacher was just staring at me.
Some of the papers I got back even had tire marks on them! I have to say I learned my lesson about hoarding homework. The funny thing was, I wasn’t mad. I was actually laughing by the end of the day!
Watch out for Mother Nature!
